3.2.11. Mirror domains

Mirror domains — special pairs of domains where, upon registration of one of them, the other is automatically reserved for the owner of the first, and no one else can register it.

Zones of mirror domains:

  • .KIEV.UA/.KYIV.UA.
  • .CHERNOVTSY.UA/.CHERNIVTSI.UA.
  • .KROPYVNYTSKYI.UA/.KIROVOGRAD.UA.
  • .MK.UA/.MYKOLAIV.UA/.NIKOLAEV.UA.
  • .OD.UA/.ODESA.UA/.ODESSA.UA.
  • .RIVNE.UA/.ROVNO.UA.

Only the owner of the first domain can register a second mirror domain, and only through the same registrar that manages the first domain. Registration is subject to a fee and is charged at the standard price for that domain zone.

Ownership transfer and transfer are performed simultaneously for all mirror domains in the group. You cannot transfer just one of the domains to another user or to another registrar; you must transfer them all together.
